I first tried creating a page with “Homepage Alternate 2” template selected from Page Attributes box and adding a gallery of thumbnails. I did the same thing trying medium, large, and full size images.

The photos in the slider were horribly blurred each time.

Secondly I tried using the slider shortcode using links to images of varying sizes.

The photos in the slider were still horribly blurred.

Ive installed the “Regenerate Thumbnails ” plugin and run it multiple times with no effect.

Please help me! I’ve run out of ideas. I would link to the site but I’m building it on a local server.

Hi, change your gallery type to Photo Gallery from details box in the editing screen.
Can you try choosing Size : Large and Link to : Media File in the gallery edit screen.
