Love this theme. A few questions that I am sure are easily fixed

1) The un-hover part of the portfolio X close button is not showing up after clicking on a portfolio.

2) Hovering over portfolio thumbnail produces a white circle. No icons.

3) Twitter feed not showing even after putting Twitter ID

4) The Skills part of the resume is there ( I can highlight the words) but must be set to white or something because nothing is showing up.

I can not test your website because it is not activated yet. First of all could you try deactivate all your plugin and try it again. Sometimes 3rd part of plugins can cause all that problems.
Check the twitter shorcodes; it must be like that

For the skill part use this css code and change the word’s color from white to another;

.skill-unit h4 { color: #fff; }

Hi obercreative,
I just solved your issues :)
The problem was link color. Appearance > Customize > Color
You chose the white color that is why you didn’t see close button and thumnail.

Do you have a page which name is “portfolio” and please check this steps.
Go to appearance > Menus > Menu Structure > portfolio > url=#/portfolio navigation label=portfolio
