cvCard theme comes with a default captcha system in the contact page which is really cool and I like it very much, but today one of my users reported a bug that the captcha in the contact page being static to 2+5=?
Which is pretty annoying for returning users. Please take a look into it and fix it up.
Today I’ve tested it using my office computer and here I got the captcha 5 + 3 = ?
But it stick to the same captcha no matter how many times I reload the page or after how manyminutes I retry the same process. I’ve even tried clearing the cache. The captcha should be refreshed every time page reloads.
Yes I do know that it should generate randomly, but it is not. It’s a bug. You enable captcha on your demo site contact page, then visit the contact page, it will show you a captcha. Now keep refreshing your page as many times you want but the captcha will stays same.
Now you you visit the same page from a different device, it will show you a completely new captcha, but again no matter how many times you refresh the page on that device, the captcha will remain same.
THIS IS THE BUG…..
I guess this is happening for W3TC page cache. If possible please test the theme in your testing environment enabling W3TC. As this is one of the must have plugins for WP. I guess you should check your theme compatibility with it.
