I have 2 issues:

1- the child theme isn’t working properly, when activating it, the header isn’t the same as in the parent theme plus the smooth scrolling isn’t working and some other inner pages changed the design.

2- I am wondering if I can display the courses on different pages related to categories, for example, I have a training category and the courses that are related to this category want to display them in Training page, I don’t want to show all courses in one page. please tell me that is possible to do it, and if you have a link, since i couldn’t find anything related in the documentation

Hi,

Customizer settings values are stored in database with active theme name. If you activate a child theme, the settings values back to default values. So you need to export/import the customizer settings values when switching between parent and child themes. You can use a plugin for it.

– Install and activate the plugin.
– Go to Appearance > Customize > Export/Import.
