Hello,

I recently changed my domain name from http://cold-milk.com to http://coldmilk.co (by pointing the new domain at the old one) and changed my WordPress settings to read

Wordpress address: Cold-Milk.com/ColdMilk

Site Address : Coldmilk.co

This seems to have been working fine for changing my domain but I noticed my contact page no longer works.

1. If you go to http://cold-milk.com/contact , the form will say it was successful but I don’t seem to receive it.

2. If you go to http://coldmilk.co/contact the form will send me the messages but the form doesn’t say success, it just sits there and spins forever frustrating my users.

I know this is an unusual and peculiar problem but if you have any ideas I would really really love you for it.

There is a more secure way to change site location.

– Go back to your previous site,

– Install a new clean WordPress to your new domain,

– Use Export/Import method to move your site content to your new domain, ( WP Admin > Tools > Export ).

Note: Backup everything firstly and do not delete anything until you sure the new site is working fine.
