Is it possible to display only one format of posts (standard) as the recent posts in my sidebar?

Use “Recent Posts” widget.

I am already using that widget but it displays all posts formats. I am able to find plugins to view recent posts based on specific categories and tags in the sidebar. I am not able to find one that allows me to display only one post format (standard, video, quote etc). I would like to be able to select to view only standard post formats in the sidebar. Hopefully that describes my question better.
