Dropcap usage – Missing from excerpt

    I’m using a dropcap for the first letter (first line) of a post. It’s missing from the frontpage excerpt but obviously shows when the post is viewed. How can I correct this? I noticed I don’t have an excerpt field when editing each post.

    Hi, you can open the excerpt field from the screen options panel.
