I am trying to embed a Facebook video (with a Facebook URL) in a blog post. I have the link and the HTML code to embed it. Where should I put those?

I tried Inserting into the “js” box under “style” — it then appears at the bottom of the home page.

Hi @kashf;
Go to “Text” tab in your post page and use your shortcode like this;
[media_wrap]iframe code here[/media_wrap]

And set the format video. ( It is located on the right side )

Sorry to be dense about this … Facebook gives me the following code and when I insert it as instructed above, between the [media_wrap] code, the post simply shows the inserted code as text. No video, even when I selected “video” for the post type. Tried using only the direct URL to the video, same result.

Yes, I did that; and when I insert that code (modified for the specific video I am attempting to embed) into the “TEXT” field of the post, this is what I get, just a link to the video: http://katharinehayhoe.com/wp2016/2016/01/02/cutest-climate-video-ever/

It is not related with the theme. Disable all your plugin and try it again. If still you have the issue, please ask your question in facebook forums.
