Currently my portfolio gallery images take over the browser windown / load the image url when clicked.
How do I stop this behaviour?
I would prefer to either have them open in a light box, or not be clickable at all.

Hi,
Please go to portfolio > edit your portfolio item > in the right corner there is a panel where you can choose the gallery type. There you should select gallery 2 and save it.

This also compeltely changes the layout of the gallery though.
Is there some additional css or something I can implement to the ‘standard gallery’ to make the images not linked and/or clickable?

Hi,
You can also try two other options from the other gallery types that are suitable for you. Standard goes to the image itself. The other three options redirect to a different screen.

You should consider changing the behaiviour of the standard gallery, or at least helping me edit my own child theme. This isn’t a planet where an image taking over the browser is a good user exprience.

I didn’t understand if the other options don’t meet what you need. If there is a gallery type you like on the demo site, we can choose it.
