I have used many hours now to figure this out, without success.
I wanted to edit the content in the current portfolio posts to my own, based on the current ones that have been imported.
When I changed the title of one of the portfolio posts (using “Quick Edit”), the layout of the post itself changed. Suddenly the post is “narrow” and the Featured image above the title with a social media share button. Don’t want a share button, why did this suddenly show? How do I remove it again? Just want the original layout back, from when it was imported.
I have read through the “Portfolio” section of the Airz documentation, tried making adjustments in the Custom settings for Portfolio posts, which you refer to, but it is not the same as before. And now I have forgot how the original settings were, so I’m really frustrated now. I also looked into the settings for “Posts” in the Customization settings, to see if I found anything there that could do the trick.
One thing I also noticed was that I was not able to edit the Portfolio post with Elementor, but only with WordPress Classic Editor which is not good. Is it not possible to edit with Elementor, or has I missed something here? In the Portfolio posts, you have sections which are a mess in the classic editor which you normally edit with Elementor.
After updating Elementor Core and Elementor Pro plugins, I was able to edit the Portfolio posts with Elementor builder and I solve the problem myself afterwards (the “Edit with Elementor” menu button was showing in the topbar, it wasn’t earlier today before I updated Elementor plugins).
You are welcome :) We’d be very happy if you can spare a minute to rate the theme on ThemeForest. Your feedback will boost our motivation and help us to work harder on future updates.
