I just recently bought the Impose WordPress theme. I am trying to find where in the code to change the “Latest from the blog” text to “Currently Working On” on the home page template. I am familiar with code and editing, I just need a little help being pointed in the right direction.
Hi desimslaughter,
Localization will solve your issue. Please install and run loco translate plugin. You can check out the related topic how to use it. You should run that plugin and find the “latest from the blog” text and edit it. http://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/translation-language/
Thanks
Hi, I downloaded that plugin, and I tried changing the text in the source text window and then in the context window and that didn’t work, so I tried adding the English language translation file and changing it in the translation box but that didn’t work either. Is there another way to change it?
There is one golden rule for the proper functioning of the localization. You need to choose language file which WordPress uses after clicking new language. You need to look at that site in WordPress, which was established in the country language. Settings > General > Site Language
Find your theme from logo plugin translate page and click to new language and change the words and save it. Go to your language file in your theme file and you can see it there.
1.Create a languages subdirectory in your plugin or theme’s root directory
2.Ensure this directory writeable by the web server
3.Find the theme or plugin in the list at Loco Translate > Manage Translations
4.Click + New language and follow the on-screen prompts.
