I am new at blogging and using WordPress. Can you help me please, how can I put link to my Facebook account and Twitter account on this theme?

use the social icons shortcode in each page you develop and/or add a sidebar widget (Text) and add the embed code you would get from twitter or facebook.
That is what I did.

When I mean embed code, just google ‘badge’ for facebook or twitter then make sure you are logged into your accounts and then decide what style of badge you want then copy that code into the TEXT widget. It will take a little playing around to find the right one you want but both services give you lots of options.

Hi, I’ve done as above, and the icons only work if you right click and open in new tab.

I’ve been able to add a link from main page of website to my facebook page (by updating the header.php file) but it currently has a ‘X’ instead of an icon. How do I get a facebook icon?
