I don’t need the “Portfolio” page type, I only use menu links to my main portfolio departments with sub departments. It works great but the “Back to Portfolio” link doesn’t work any more. If I set up a regular portfolio page to make the link work again I see all my departments and sub departments on one page which is not what I want.

Is there a way to customize the “Back to Portfolio” link so that it brings me back to the main department from which I selected the portfolio item?

You can hide it.

– Paste to Theme Settings > Style > Custom CSS:

.back { display: none; }

Yes, that’s what I already did. It would be nice if the back link was configurable in a future version of the theme.
