Hi,
this is a very simple question. As you portfolios have various departments which users can create but I want to redirect my users to the portfolio link such a way that when they land on the portfolio page, a specific department get selected instead selecting “All” by default.
What would be the link for that? Please help.

Hi, sorry but this feature is not available by default and we don’t plan to add it because this is just a vcard theme and we want to keep things simple. Thank you.

It’s not about complexity my friends. Its about giving a proper url. Now we can provide our portfolio url only. But if we need to sent anyone the portfolio link with a specific department, we cant do that.
Anyway can you give me any helpful link through which I can achieve that?

Hi again, i see, maybe it will not add more complexity to the theme but it will take more time from us to add that feature. Try adding this feature by yourself might be exhausting because it will not only require editing php files but also needs to edit javascript functions (about url parsing) to work properly.

damn! :( Just a quick thought. I’ve seen that for all the under that tag uses href as #. So instead using # if you put something like #whatever, then cant we do the selection by passing that #part at the end of the url?
Will this work? Just a quick though, not sure whether it will work or not. I do understand that it will take a lot of time from you guys. Maybe I can hire your guys later for this job if the above idea wont work.

sadly, i don’t think it would work so quickly. Also we can’t accept custom work, sorry.
