I’m having trouble connecting Google Calendar with the Amelia booking plugin. Whenever I try to set up the integration from an employee profile, the connection fails and I receive an error saying the integration was unsuccessful – “Error – Sign in with Google”.
I also followed the steps in Amelia’s documentation, including trying with the phpMyAdmin plugin as suggested, but the connection still doesn’t work. I use this query: SELECT * FROM wp_amelia_providers_to_google_calendar
Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue, or let me know if there’s a known compatibility problem between the Efor theme and Amelia’s Google Calendar integration?
Thank you for reaching out. The issue you are experiencing with Google Calendar integration in Amelia is not related to the Efor theme. The theme does not interfere with or limit plugin-to-Google API connections.
Google Calendar integration in Amelia depends on:
Correct Google API credentials (Client ID, Client Secret, Redirect URI) being set up in the Google Cloud Console.
The server meeting Amelia’s requirements (PHP version, cURL, allow_url_fopen, OpenSSL enabled, etc.).
Proper database connection (the wp_amelia_providers_to_google_calendar table is part of Amelia, not the theme).
👉 I recommend:
Double-checking that the Redirect URI in your Google Cloud Console project exactly matches the one listed in Amelia’s documentation.
Ensuring your hosting environment has all the required PHP extensions enabled.
If the issue persists, contacting Amelia’s support directly, as they can assist with debugging API authorization errors more precisely.
Since this integration is entirely handled within Amelia, there is no known compatibility issue with the Efor theme.
If you have trouble getting in touch with Amelia’s support team, please let us know — we’ll be happy to assist you in establishing communication with them.
Best regards,
Serkan
