Hi,

The blog page works like a single page. So the URL ( #/blog ) is not supported for the blog page.

Use a full URL in the menu for the blog page.

Example:

Menu item name: BLOG
Menu item url: http://www.site.com/blog

Hi, it is still in progress but at this time you can add a simple blog page with sidebar. Then you can place the Custom Menu widget to the sidebar for navigation in pages.

I am on the latest update and while trying to add it i noticed that the slug option dosnt work for the custom menu (ie. #blog) is that going to get implemented anytime soon? in other words i want what ericrichner previously mentioned.

And also i would like to add that the Blog section in the documentation lacks a LOT of information , there should more information on the way its setup and what are the current features and future features for that..

Hi. I updated to the latest version and added a blog page. Just curious, is the blog page supposed to show posts similarly to how it is shown in the portfolio section? I’ve included a screenshot to show how my two example posts are showing up.

Hi! You’ve done great work.

I was thinking it might be nice to be able to take a look at the blog without opening the main page. Like a blog-button from the landing page in addition to the open button, so the blog would open full screen? Direct link could also open the full page blog. What do you think?

This way I could link only the blog if would like to promote it, e.g. mypage.com/blog/

That looks really great Mehmet! I was just curious as how to implement the blog to look that way. Is there a new version of the theme beyond 3.5? The version I currently have only has the blog posts looking like a portfolio page with thumbnails for posts. How would one setup the blog to look like the demo site link?

Please check the blog chapter in your theme’s documentation.

I did. It’s only one line that says:

“Create a new page. Select “Blog” template from the Page Attributes box. This page will show your posts.”

But when I do that and setup a couple of posts, all I get is this:

Hi, how do you do to put some images next to every article ? as on your http://themes.pixelwars.org/impressivcard-wp/blog I mean, if I put an image in my article, this is not appear next to my article but inside… so how can I do to get the same structure as you ?
