    I have a problem with this theme: In chrome disappear menu and all text in the page

    http://www.vincenzobossotti.it/index.htm
    http://www.vincenzobossotti.it/barbera-asti-superiore.htm
    etc
    etc

    if I delete jquery.fitvids.js, text and menu come back and work correct but gallery and fancybox don’t work

    how can i fix it?

    tks

    Hi, i just checked your site in chrome, both menu and text appear and fancybox works. Does your problem still persist?

    I have the same problem.
    I found out through somebody’s suggestion in another post that the culprit is this code in the main.js file:

    //**********************************
    // RESPONSIVE VIDEOS
    $(“.media-wrap”).fitVids();
    //**********************************

    If that is deleted or made texted out the problem no longer happens BUT your media content seems no longer fully responsive. For example an embedded vimeo video on your page will resize on a smartphone device but it will be surrounded by a massive black container messing up the layout of the page

    Does anyone know how to fix this major problem with the theme?
    I could be wrong but isn’t Chrome the most widely used browser these days…

    Thank you in advance for any help

    I really can’t detect the issue, just checked again on Chrome 33 both on win7 and OS X Mavericks, everything is fine on my side.

    I have the same problem. The text is invisible: http://southparkscribe.com. When I refresh, everything appears. How do I access the main.js file?

    @banicholls

    you can see it in the theme folder/js/main.js

    I’m having this same problem. Chrome 33.0.1750.154 m on Windows 7 SP1. But I’ve also seen the problem on different computers now… only when running chrome. Can we get a fix for this? It just started happening a few weeks ago.

    just to follow up, navigating to a different page on the site or opening ‘inspect element’ or moving the tab to a new window, all refresh the text and it becomes visible, but simply refreshing the page renders it invisible again. Please help.

    One more note:
    This seems to be the issue.

    @blackburst1

    it seems like a chrome bug, i can’t test the fix on my side, because the problem doesn’t occur on my side.
