Hello,

I’m trying to figure out how nested galleries work. Here is what I want. I want somebody to click on ‘Portfolio’ in the main menu navigation. When they get to the portfolio page I want there to be 4 galleries Main Galleries:

1. “Portraits” w/ Nested Galleries
-Lifestyle
-Fashion
-Fitness

2. “Real Estate” with no nested galleries

3. “Events” with no nested galleries

Is this possible? Because as of now I’m creating the department for “Portraits” and it’s showing up on the portfolio page. When I click on “Portraits” it takes me to the nested portfolio page with all the other options. So that works fine. BUT that’s all that shows up on the main portfolio page. The real estate and Events portfolios don’t show up along side of “Portraits”.

So I went ahead and created a Real Estate department and made the real estate portfolio part of the real estate department but when I click on Real Estate from the main portfolio page it takes me to a nested gallery page where the Real Estate portfolio shows up again AND THEN it takes me to the gallery

How do I fix this?

Hi, you need to use “Portfolio with Departments” template instead of “Portfolio” template. Just select “Portfolio with Departments” template for your current portfolio page in the editing screen.

This template shows departments. Mean the first level gallery. Then add portfolio items to departments.

I have 3 galleries:

1. Portraits
2. Real Estate
3. Events

I only want to make ‘Portraits’ a nested gallery. I tried making ‘Portfolio’ as the main department and adding ‘Portraits’, ‘Real Estate’ and ‘Events to the Portfolio department. The I created another department called ‘Portraits’ and made ‘Portfolio’ the parent department but then when I go to the portfolio department ONLY ‘Portraits’ shows and real estate and events don’t open. If I create a ‘Real Estate’ Department then it creates a real estate portfolio and then has the exact same portfolio nested inside which looks stupid. How do i fix this?

When I click Portfolio on my menu I want to go to a page that has 3 galleries.

1. Portraits
2. Real Estate
3. Events

When they open Portraits I want them to see a nested gallery. But if they want to open the Real estate or Event portfolio I want them to go straight to the photo gallery.

Hi, with the new update you can now have a portfolio page that is consist of both departments and portfolio posts those don’t belong to any department, mixed altogether in the same page.

Hi, you can see the changelog on Themeforest page of the item.

“Portfolio with Departments” is combined with the “Portfolio” template. Just use it.

Under the page attributes you should choose portfolio template. We’ve fixed that issue before.
Download the latest version of the theme and you can check the topics which are related with your issue. Still if you have a trouble, please create a new topic.
