Hello,

I’ve recently bought the cvCard theme.
I’m trying to set it up on my local machine (with Mac OS X and NGINX as a web server) and I cannot make links in portfolio to work correctly.

I imported sample data and set permalinks to “Post name” as suggested in documentation.

I can see the homepage and menu works ok. When I go to the portfolio page, each link is something like http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/portfolio/personal-cv-project/ while my browser shows http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/#/portfolio

When I click on a project link my browser changes URL to http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/#/portfolio/personal-cv-project/ and the page goes blank and white. In web tools of my browser I can see the following:

Request URL: http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/personal-cv-project/
Request method: GET
Status code: 404 Not found

also when I copy & paste the http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/portfolio/personal-cv-project/ url into my browser I get

404 Not Found
nginx/1.6.2

Moreover, links on the blog page are not working as well, e.g. there is a link to a blog post http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/tips-for-better-character-sketching/ but I get

404 Not Found
nginx/1.6.2

after clicking on it.

Somehow better is when I change permalinks to default – blog links are working fine but clicking on portfolio links redirects me to “about me” page (as I would click about me in the navigation bar) and the url in the browser is set to http://localhost:8080/wordpress3/#/?portfolio=personal-cv-project

I would really appreciate your help :)

Hi, set again your permalink settings to post name options and then check again please.
