Hi, i just checked your images in portfolio page, some of them has too big resolution over 2000px, but the main problem is they are in png format and the size is over 1mb for an image. You can convert them to jpg format, then average image size will be 200kb. That will speed up your portfolio 5x.
OK I reduced the size and ran them through Smush.it and it helped a little. They are all below 1mb now. I need to stay with png because they have a lot of text and I want them to be sharp so they are easy to read.
Thanks that’s good to know but wish I’d known sooner. Now I will have to go back in and rescale everything again. Perhaps this was covered in the documentation and I overlooked it. If it is not, you might want to add a note on that.
