Hi, when creating a new post, select “Quote” as “Post Format” and format your text as blockquote in the content editor; by selecting your text and clicking quote icon in the editor.

I’ve tried change my post to Quote Format and format my text to Blockquote, but the result still the same as Standard post.

There is no [quote] shortcode in Read WP theme. Please check out the theme documentation for the Quote format.

When you create a page, you should write like this to the text side. (not to visual side) You can see the tab button above the middle of the page.
