Hi there, I have activated the shop sidebar from the customize section (changed from no to yes) but the sidebar does NOT appear on woocommerce shop pages or woocommerce category pages. I went to the backend and added some blocks into the widget for the shop sidebar and still nothing appears. The sidebar for everything else(blog, single post, portfolio…) is working fine except for the shop page.

Could you please provide me your wp admin details via our private content box below?
Can you also check if the sidebar is turned on in the right side panel when you open the shop page?

The sidebar is activated in the customizer Sideabar section. Actually I activated all the sidebars in that section to see if it works (from No to Yes).

The sidebar does not appear on the shop page. It does not appear on single product page either.

I check the widget area on in the customizer and the sidebar is NOT there either. It is not getting rendered at all.

For blogs, posts… I see a class called “secondary” for the sidebar which does not exist on the shop page at all even after activating the sidebar.

So I copied the sidebar files (wrapper-end.php & wrapper-start.php ) from the main theme and put them into the child them and edited the code so now it is showing the sidebar and it is working.
However this is temporary until the issue gets fixed since I needed the sidebar. Please let me know when you have resolved the issue or if there is going to be update.

Hi,
Our demo site does not show such an error. So I need your wp admin information to understand the problem. Also, make sure that you make code customizations on the child theme and do not make changes to the parent theme. If you have third party plugins, please deactivate them and try it again.
