Hi there: I changed to “no-js one-page-layout” in haeder of both index.html & layout.dwt files.
And it still doesn’t show my name in ..
Please let me know what I am missing. ():o)

Hi, please follow these steps, i assume you are using Dreamweaver;

– open Templates/layout.dwt and find line: 65, you will see ;

<!-- HEADER -->
<header class="header">
            
    <img src="../images/site/avatar.png" alt="avatar">
    <h1>Johnny Doe</h1>
    <p>freelance graphic designer</p>

– edit name and title here, then save it,
– Dw will prompt to apply the changes to all sub pages, confirm and click “Save All” if there is any open sub pages.
– This should update name and title in all pages.

i tried your advice..but it still won’t pick up my change in layout.dwt.

i just opened your files, and edited layout.dwt and when i save it, all pages updated with your name on the header.

– Don’t forget to create a new site in Dw first.
– go to “Site > New Site” then give a name
– show your project directory as “Local Site Folder”

then try again.

“one” in header of layout.dwt. () :D

Hello – I followed all the directions above. The minute I change anything in the .dwt file the site no longer functions. Menus doesn’t work… nothing when I preview it.

every time you have updated layout.dwt , open index.html and change the html class single-page-layout to one-page-layout.
