    Hi,

Wordpress says it can get lost when updating WordPress and it is a lot manual work which I would like to avoid. The theme is quite complex with many subpages and plugins, so it would be great if you can provide the XML configuration as solution or if you can give a hint where I can find a description to do it myself. I googled but I couldn’t find a description so far. ;( Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi, move your language files to outside of the theme. Then update your theme.

    – Go to Loco Translate > Themes page,
    – Choose Efor theme,
    – Choose your language (German),
    – Go to “Relocate” tab,
    – Select “Custom” location for your language files,
    – Click on the “Move files” button,
    – Start translating.

    Thanks

Ok did all steps above but that did not change anything at all. ;( So tried this instead:
I have moved the 100% completed language file to the upper overview area and it looks correct now. And I removed all other language files there.

How can I check that this correct language file is working? Because when I go to the preview of the website there are still lots of parts that are in English.. ;-( e.g. on the blog is a lot still in English, also in the contact form…

    Thanks in advance!

btw: how can I provide you screenshots here?

Efor theme uses some functionalities from Pixelwars Core and Pixelwars Core Shortcodes plugins. Just try to translate these plugins to your language.

Go to Loco Translate > Plugins page, and find the above plugins in the page.

You can use the following website to upload your screenshots.

thank you! Some of the parts I could translate with this instruction, but not all – there are still few to go:

Where can I find those? Thanks in advance!

Search them in the Loco > WordPress page. Just create your language file for the Development part of WordPress, and use the search field.
