twitter widget background colour change?

    Could you tell me where/how I adjust the background colour of the twitter widget?
    It’s a bit dark (for my liking) against the theme background that I chose.

    Paste to Theme Settings > Style > Custom CSS:

    #twitter-list ul li span { background: grey; }
