How do I download just the update without having to reinstall the entire theme?

You can download the new version directly from ThemeForest.

Hi,

I just downloaded the zip file update for the pixel wars theme, but when I uploaded it on wordpress, it told me the following and the update failed:

Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-4703989-bookcard-wp-responsive-3d-folded-vcard.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.

What should i do?! Please help!

It is not a theme. It is the full package. Unzip the package, then you will find the theme under Theme folder.

Oh I see – so how should I install the most uptodate version/upgrade?

Install it in the regular way.

– Appearance > Themes > Install Themes > Upload.

First of all thanks for a very beautiful theme. I’ve used the demo design as a starting point but obviously customised it a bit and don’t want to lose all changes I’ve made. How do I update between v.1.1.6 and 1.1.7 without losing my customisations? Will doing it (the regular way) as you’ve explained above work?
