2 problems with theme "Lahanna": extra white-space and categories not working

    Hello,

    I purchased the theme “Lahanna” and I like it very much.
    Unfortunately two really annoying problems occured lately:

    1. Problems with extra white-space: I want to use the plugin “Updraft” to backup my wordpress installation. But now I tried the first backup and I am not able to download the backup files. Updraft says this is due to “problems with extra white-space”: https://updraftplus.com/problems-with-extra-white-space/ and that that either plugins or templates could be responsible for the problem. Therefore I enabled all plugins but that didn’t fix it, so I changed the theme to standard theme and the bug didn’t occur anymore. Therefore I think the theme “Lahanna” is causing the problem. Any ideas how to fix this?

    2. Problems with categories: Also the second problem only occurs when I activate the template “Lahanna” so I think this is a bug in the theme. When I generate new categories they are not showing at once. I first have to leave and reenter the area “categories” or the post I’m currently editing to see the new category. This is rather annoying. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Hi,
    We can’t provide support for third party plugins, you may contact to plugin author and then report the problem to the plugin author.
    The second issue related to third party plugins. You can deactivate all your plugins except the necessary plugin and try it again.

    Sorry, I dont’t really understand your answer and get the impressions you did neither read my report nor the description regarding problem 1 in the link I provided for further information (https://updraftplus.com/problems-with-extra-white-space/)?!
    There is written, that a plugin or a template (maybe wp-config.php) is causing the problem not the third party plugin and that it woult be good to inform the developer. So I did after I identified that the problem ONLY occurs when theme “Lahanna” is activated. I purchased for the theme, so maybe you could just have a closer look at this?

    And the 2nd problem regarding the categories is NOT related to third party plugins. As I mentioned in my report the problem only occurs when I activate the template “Lahanna”. I already deactivated all plugins and the problem is still there. So I think it must have something to do with the theme.
