When I first set up my site, I removed the ability to show show the author of each post. I forgot where I did that. Where do I go to add it back? Thank you!

Please go to appearance > customize > single post > author info box.

Is that the only place to do it? Yes is already selected.

It says to display when bio is available. Where do I add a bio? How does it know what author to assign to a post?

Go to dashboard > users > edit the author > you will see the Biographical Info and edit it.
