I’m trying to create another portfolio page that would be ordered between the existing portfolio page and the contact page on the menu, but it’s not as straight forward as I thought.

I’ve created a second portfolio page and added the widget and menu item for it, but it just shows all the same portfolio items as the existing page (i.e. everything under portfolio in WordPress).

How do I select only certain ones to show up on one portfolio page, and the others for the other portfolio page?

In the meantime, is there a way I can edit the Department listing at the top of the portfolio page so it doesn’t show all the projects by default?

To be more specific, I’m looking for a way to edit which Departments are displayed on the Portfolio page.

I don’t really want some of them to show up at the top links but I want the Portfolio items themselves to still exist with that Department (for future use, etc).

Hi, sorry but it is not available by default. And since this is just a vcard theme your request (multiple portfolio pages with selected categories) is out of the scope of this theme.

No I’m not asking for multiple portfolio pages with selected categories.

I would ideally like multiple portfolio pages, which is something you guys said you would consider for the next update.

As an alternative for now, I’m asking if it’s possible to edit the Departments list on the Portfolio page so I can control which Departments are shown.

Surely it’s just a matter of editing some code on the Portfolio page template and I would appreciate if you guys could point out where this is, thanks.

Just to be clear, all I’m asking is if there is currently a way to edit how the Departments are listed on the Portfolio page.

For example, instead of the default All | Dept A | Dept B | Dept C, I’m able to have it show up as something like Dept A | Dept C.

That’s all I’m asking.

Sorry, it is not possible by default. WordPress lists them alphabetically. You need to work with a professional.
