Hi, I’m trying to assign specific posts to a page and I found another thread where you explained how to do it where they can select the page through the menu, however I would like to do it so that the posts are connected to the link box images on the home page (you click on the image and are directed to a page of relevant posts). Does this make sense, and is this possible? Thanks!

Hi,
If you want to go to the custom post when you click on the link box on the home page;
Go to appearance > widgets > blog/page featured area > link box > paste your post url here.

Hi, ok so this makes sense but how do I actually create the grid view of relevant posts? Perhaps its a terminology thing but I just cant figure it out from whats in the documentation. Thanks!

Hi,
Go to appearance > widgets > page featured area > drag and drop linkbox and easily customize it. You can add the post url and add a featured image and specify the grid width.
