I am trying to add a social icon to the shortcode set, but can not find where the images are held. Where are the social icon images kept? Or are they being pulled from somewhere?

I had the same problem, and just solved it :) use these shortcodes

@EvgenAntipin: where are you trying to add the icons?

From the sidebar in your admin dashboard, go to Appearance > Widgets.

From the Available Widgets, drag and drop a TEXT widget to wherever you see SOCIAL ICONS and add the code to it. Save it, and refresh your homepage. You should see them.
