I have added the social icon shortcode in text/html widget and placed the widget in Header social icon..

Now when I save and reload the page, a small X comes out instead of the appropriate social media icon which may be because there is no appropriate image class featuring the social media icon within the theme.. In other words, the theme probably does not host the social media icon images in its files.

Here is the shortcode I used:
