Adjusting sidebar width without breaking responsiveness

    Hello,

    I adjusted width of the post area and the sidebar area and now the responsiveness is broken. When I view my site on my phone, the post area only takes up about 40%-50% width of the screen. Which is weird, since I made the post area wider and sidebar area smaller in width.

    Any idea how I can solve this?

    If you go here, and make your browser window as small as possible, you can see what I mean. The effect is the same on my phone.

    Hope you can/want to help me out.

    Regards,

    Paste to Appearance > Theme Options > Style > External CSS/JS:

    <script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
        $('#primary.span7').removeClass('span7').addClass('span8');
        $('#secondary.span5').removeClass('span5').addClass('span4');
    });
    </script>
