I don’t know how to set up a portfolio button…

And – I have all of my blog posts on the alternative homepage. How I can reduce a number of visible posts?

1-) First Help

– in the Visual tab of the editor:

2-) Second Help

– Go to Appearance > Editor > page-home.php
– Find the line below:

$args_homepage = array( 'post_type' => 'post', 'posts_per_page' => -1 );

– The mean of -1 is unlimited. So you can change it 5, 10, 15, 20 or what you want.

Is it possible to place the latest blog post in the “Intro” area instead? I assumed that this would be done via a shortcode but I can’t seem to get it.

You can use the Archive 2 template.

Is there a way to actually not have any blog posts show in the static home page? I tried typing 0 and none in the line you suggested, but it didn’t work. Thanks!

When setting the number of posts to a specific number, let’s say 10.. is it possible to add pagination to the page as well?

Hi,

@laurahuet93: Create a new page with Default Template and select it from the static front page option under Settings > Reading. This is the regular way to adjust a static page for the homepage.

@evobulgarevo: There is no pagination functionality for that page.
