In the case of linking to a specific anchor on a page, for instance in the case of using footnotes to cite sources, when clicking on the link to go to a location on a page that is above the current location, the nav-menu immediately pops up, blocking the desired text from showing. You can see this in the image, as the nav-bar is slightly transparent.
I would like to keep the behavior of the nav-bar to appear when scrolling up, however just not in the cases where I am clicking an anchor link.
I don’t believe this is particular to my site. I believe the same behavior would occur if you created a vanilla WordPress install and used the Editor theme.
Hi, i see your point but this is how the menu script works and this issue occurs on all designs that use fixed navigation menu, btw you can disable fixed menu in “Theme Options > Style > Fixed Menu”.
