I ask because I can’t get Google Authorship to work. The KB for the plugin says, the theme must not be using native WP functions to create author links and to add:

echo get_the_author_link() (“echo” is required to work)
the_author_posts_link() (“echo” is not required)

But I don’t know if that is true. If it is, I don’t know which one to add or if this will be covered in V1.1.
