    Hi,

For the Efor theme, how can I resize the blog image so it doesn’t crop the photo?

    Thanks,
    Ashley

    Hi Ashley,
Could you please run the regenerate plugin once and try it again?

I ran the regenerate thumbnails plugin and the blog images are still cropped.

    Hi,
The wordpress is auto cropping the images. You use a rectangle on the archive page while using square on the homepage. I recommend you to edit the photo according to the format. Or you can go to appearance > customize > blog > change it to list format for all formats.
    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes, I know WordPress is cropping the blog images, but how do I turn it off?

Not sure what you mean by ‘square on the home page’? I’m not displaying any blogs on the home page.

I really want the grid layout – the list format is just too much scrolling. Is there a way to at least display the list in 2 columns?

I just really want the grid layout, but I can’t have my images being chopped off.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Please go to dashboard > settings > media > uncheck “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)” and save it.
If you still have the issue, i will forward this topic to our wordpress developer.
    Thanks

Hi, yes I tried that and still didn’t work. I even regenerated the thumbnail.

Hi, please navigate to Appearance > Customize > Blog > Grid Type = Masonry, this will disable the image cropping and will activate masonry layout.

    Cheers.
