I’ve got a couple of questions about setting up the blog.

1) How do exit the blog once I’ve opened a post? I’ve got left/right but no X like in the portfolio. (I asked this already in an existing question but I thought a new topic might be a better place to ask.

2) How do I get a menu within the post item itself?

3) How do I get the blog menu to look like the rest of the site? its just a list with square bullet points now and the normal menu looks soo much better.

4) How do I add the blog to the site? Should it be a Custom Page (Can you give some suggestions for Axis, scale etc.?) in the widget area or a direct link to site.com/blog in the menu? I want the blog to blend into the rest of the site as much as possible.

5) Do categories/tag work? I tried a couple of each but they just take me to my homepage. The Recent Posts links seem to work fine though.

There is literally one line in the documentation for the setup of the blog, I think it would be helpful if there was a little more info like the other sections.

I didn’t intent to use the blog when I bought the theme but now I’m realising how useful it could be for conveying extra information to visitors – thanks for adding it in.

Hi,

1) I will improve this on the next update.

2) Sorry, I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking?

3) It is not possible right now.

4) You can add a blog like the portfolio with the blog widget or custom page viewing (Template: Blog).

5) Will work on the next update.

Thanks for your replies, I’m looking forward to the next update! Do you have a scheduled release date?

2) when you’re actually in the content of the blog post – how do I show the site menu from there? Currently only left and right arrows are showing but how do I get to contact me, about me etc. pages?

4) I’d like to add the blog like a the other pages? what can I put for the required fields Axis, etc? The instructions don’t really mention how to work it out. I’ve used the defaults from the all the other pages but there’s nothing like that in the blog instructions section.
