I purchase your wordpress theme impressive and I would like to develop the Blog part. I have developed the custom post type for blog as the portfolio custom type and the widget too. I have made some modification to main.js in order to manage blog too, but I have one big problem that it’s making me crazy.

I wrote a new post in blog (custom post type) but with the url that should show me the post it doesn’t.

For example this http://xxx.xx/portfolio/limitless-sky/ show the portfolio post without problems but http://xxx.xxx/blog/test doesn’t show me anything.

What could I do in order to blog post been shown?

Actually I don’t know what solution is the right way exactly , but in the future it might be done.

Can you give a recommendation of a workaround? For example, if the blog portion was hosted on another WP host with a different theme, could it be linked to directly from the menu in such a way to make it seem seamless?

Yes, it could be linked to directly from the menu by using a custom link.

Please add blog functionality to the list for your next theme update. This is obviously a very important feature of a wordpress theme!

Hi all, blog was out of the scope when we are designing this theme. And it requires more time and hard work to integrate blog with ajax functionality. We don’t plan to add blog feature to this theme as we are really busy with upcoming themes.
