i started this blog with the example file.
Now i am trying to set things right but its impossible for me to get all the pages right in the ‘scrolling’ menu again. I only need the resume/about me/contact/homepage pages to rotate
i have set in ‘widgets’ the special cvcard widgets and linked them to te pages
in ‘menus’ i selected the ‘costum menu’ and add the pages i needthe pages have the same settings as they were in the example file i only want to change the content.
The widgets are not showing in the ‘costumize area’ so nothing is really happening..
what settings do i need to get the pages i want to show on the website and rotating
please help, its really frustrating
never mind allready fixt it! thanks
Hello. I seem to be having a similar problem. I imported the demo template and set it up but I can’t get the navigation, the page scrolling to work. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Just for your reference my page is http://www.kjellanderson.com.
You should do exactly what the documents say.
So make sure that you use ‘links’ in the menus
and set the blog and homepage in settings -> ‘reading’
set the widgets in de cvcard widget area right
check the settings in theme options, use CVcard menu, do not use classic navigation menu
Thanks for your reply Bartholowmeus. I have tried following the instructions carefully but the menu still does not function correctly (i.e. I cannot scroll sideways to see the various pages). I’m not sure what more to do.
– go to: Appearance > Widgets and remove default wordpress widgets from the theme widgets location.
Thanks
Thanks very much for your response Mehmet. I’m admittedly pretty bad at this stuff :) Unfortunately when I initially set up the theme I moved quite a few widgets over to to the right side so now I am unsure which widgets are the default wordpress widgets and which ones are the cv card ones. Can you tell me which widgets are the default widgets? Or is there a way to just restore the widget page? Thanks!
