I have installed the Stefan Hughes demo but I want the Linda Cooper blog layout.
Do I have to import the Linda Cooper demo as well or can I recreate this layout from within Stefan Hughes demo content?

You can go to appearance > customize > blog > choose blog regular, for the achieve page you can choose grid layout. You can easily customize layouts here.

How do I disable the post slider at the top of the page and include blog sidebar – I can set it on single post but not on blog.

Please go to appearance > widgets > blog featured area > remove the slider. Also, you can set up the blog sidebar here as well.

Please go to appearance > widgets > blog sidebar > drag and drop top 10 plugin > check thumbnail’s inline before title and post type include post type and save it.

Hi,
You can customize many things via customizer.
Please go to appearance > customize > sidebar > widget title align > choose left and save it.
Appearance > customize > sidebar > trending post align > choose default and save it.
I advise you to check the features on the customizer. You will find many solutions there.
