For some reason, my child theme that is Active is titled photographer-wp-child1 and i get an error that says:

ERROR: The theme directory “photographer-wp-child1” does not exist.

When I try to activate the child theme, I get the error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘=>’ (T_DOUBLE_ARROW) in /home1/caledonl/public_html/artfulcaledon/wp-content/themes/photographer-wp-child/functions.php on line 12

    What’s going on?

    Hi,

The theme directory is the folder name of a theme in FTP. There is a field named “Template” in your child theme’s style.css file. The field Template value must be same with its parent theme’s folder name.

More information can be found on here and here.

    Thanks
