Hello,

I am using the “(Pixelwars) Contact Form” in the contact page and after I test it sending an email I receive two emails instead of just one. I find also quite strange that after I send the email I am not prompted with any confirmation message that the email has indeed been sent – nothing happens… is that normal? If so, is there another plug-in I can use instead of yours? In a different Topic I’m reading that there are issues with the Gravity Forms and from experience I’ve noticed that whichever third party plugin/widget I use it doesn’t work on your theme.

You can use the ninjaform plugin instead of the default contact form and check it again? If it works for you, you can keep it.

Are you suggesting that I pay for a membership for the ninjaforms plugin with no guarantee that it’s going to actually work on your theme? It doesn’t sound like a viable option especially after I have already paid for a theme that was supposed to offer this service with no issues but, as I said, it sends 2 emails instead of one…

The support has been so far very disappointing and the overall experience a major let down to be honest (from the issues with using any plugin that’s not yours to the poor and superficial “workarounds” suggested in the support forum). I’ve been working for years with WordPress templates and have never had these many compatibility and structural issues and such a poor support from the developers – something that I’ve noticed many other users have encountered in other support requests posted in this forum.

It’s truly unfortunate because the style of the theme is very neat.

Your criticism seems pretty heavy. I did not recommend you to use a paid plugin. I asked you to install the plug-in that I recommend for free and see if the problem persists. Thus, we can understand more clearly why the problem is caused. Sending double emails is not a problem related to theme but i want to help you to figure it out.

My criticism is accurate and directed at specific issues that I’ve pointed out specifically but haven’t been solved so I don’t think I’ve been unfair and my frustration is that of a customer that has bought a product full of limitations at a price or which other themes offer way more options and a much more caring support.

Anyway, I have installed the free version of the Ninja Forms and, just like any other third-party plugin installed on your theme, while it shows correctly in preview mode, it does not show once published due to a conflict with your theme so I’m going to have to suck it up and go back to using your “(Pixelwars) Contact Form” that has no submission confirmation message, no obligatory or customizable fields and no reCAPTCHA integration, unless they are available somewhere in the settings of the theme and I am missing on something – which might be very well the case as these are all usually pretty standard options in wordpress templates and the reason why I posted this support request.

Hi, due to the limitation of the nature of an ajax fetched page any third party plugin which requires extra javascript to work will not work right with theme’s ajax homepage subpages, unfortunately there isn’t any easy applicable fix for this situation.

As an alternate solution, you can create a single page with the contact form created with your desired contact form plugin, such as ninjaform or wpforms, then you can add a button (to your contact page), called “Send me a message” which directs users to your contact form page.
