Great theme. Easy to work with and fun. Made my blog look so nice in just a day or two. Thanks
A few quick questions.
1) My blog has so many categories that I need to create some gateway pages. Is it possible to create one of those featured area grids with sliders and/or link boxes on new pages.
2) I love the load effect that comes with the photo grids. Anyway to apply it to the homepage grid?
3) Will there ever be custom hoverstates like zoom in for the homepage grid.
2) It is not possible by default.
3) Sorry it is not available by default and it requires more time and effort to customization, if you are not familiar to coding you may consider hiring an expert at envato studio.
– you can create a new page and select “Latest Posts” for Template from Page Attributes box and then go to Appearance > Widgets and drag link boxes widget to “Page Featured Area” this will only show up on your new page.
The problem is that we want to add them to a few different pages. When I purchased the theme I thought these might be added via custom fields or shortcodes. Using widgets to add these definitely feels a but limiting, but we can make it work.
here it is if you want to take a glance. starting to look nice!

we might improve the theme in the future so each page can have it’s own featured area widgets, but not promising.
in your situation, I recommend you to add few link-boxes to highlight some categories and for all categories add a menu link named Categories to your menu and add all categories and sub categories as sub menus of this menu item. Having your categories in your menu will make it more reachable for the users.
