Critical conflict and my site is down

The site collapsed and I do not know what caused the issue. You will see the log in private. I have checked line 667 and this is what is in it:

    $efor_setting_header_menu_border_left_width__after_left = (-$efor_setting_header_menu_border_left_width);

I decided to re-install the theme, but now sure if I’ll need to reinstall the main and child theme as well or just the child. Before I do that I want to understand what caused the issue not to happen again.

I have installed WP Rocket (cache plugin) and Updraft plus not long before the site collapsed. Did not find any related topic in forums if they would have conflict with each other.

    Please help me ASAP.
    thanks,
    Laszlo

    Hello,

Have you updated the theme to the latest version? If not, please update it immediately and check your website again.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hi,

I have the Version: 13.1.2 which is the latest if I’m right. I installed the theme few days ago. Any other idea?

Hi, Since you installed WP Rocket and UpdraftPlus, a caching issue or conflict could be contributing. Try:

Clear WP Rocket Cache: In the WP Rocket settings, click “Clear Cache” and “Purge OPcache”.
Disable WP Rocket Temporarily: If the site works without it, adjust WP Rocket’s file optimization settings (CSS, JS merging/minifying).
Check UpdraftPlus Logs: Ensure no recent automatic backups caused file issues.

Hi I deactivated both plugins, I even reinstalled the parent and child theme and I’m keep running into the Elementor 500 error issue and get this debug message:

Please help me as it get really annoying that I purchased the plugin few days ago and I’m already having constant headache.

    Hi,

Under the Header section in the Customizer, there are Menu settings. The issue you reported seems to be related to the “Menu Border Left Width” setting.

Please check this setting. It should not be left empty. A value of zero, or any positive or negative integer, must be entered.

Thanks, I have wiped the site and the database, reinstalled WP and the themes. Now it seems to be working.

Strange thing is, that I have never touched those numbers, so I doubt the value was deleted and the space was left blank…

Anyhow, it is working now, hope it will stay like that.

    Thanks and BR,
    Laszlo

    Hi,

I’m glad to hear that your website is working properly. If you encounter the same issue or a similar one again, please let us know. We will be making changes to the Customizer algorithm and releasing an update.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet
