CSS Style in Icon List Widget

    Hello,

    I have added a simple Icon List Widget on my Resume page but the text is not automatically formatted in the same font and color as the other paragraphs in the pixelwars custom widgets. Is there a way to “force” the text to look like the Department/Job header of the Timeline Event Widget? I am using the Demo 2 as template for building my website.

    Thank you.
    Giampietro.

    PS: Speaking of CSS, in the page “Contact” the texts and icons are in light blue instead of the standard blackish color of the header. Where can I change that back to the standard color? Thank you.

    Hello,

    there’s also a problem with the contact form. When I click on the send button a big X comes on-screen as though there was an error but the form works correctly and I receive the email in my email account. How can this issue be solved so that a thumbs up comes on upon submission of the form just like on the demo? Thank you.

    I tried deactivating all plugins including the W3 total cache plugin and the CSS Minify as suggested in a previous support entry but it doesn’t solve the CSS formatting issue:

    Hi,
    I just went to dashboard > elementor > settings > advanced > activated Font Awesome 4 Support and saved it.
    Sub page’s content is fetched via Ajax, so any element which requires extra JavaScript to work won’t work on your homepage, sorry but there is nothing we can do about it because of the limitation of the Ajax fetched page nature.

    You can add this custom css code for changing the icon and text color for the contact page; (The color looks like effect by elementor global color settings. You can fix it on elementor or you can use these custom css codes;

    .elementor-icon i, .elementor-icon svg { color: #000; }
    .elementor-icon-box-title span { color: #000; }

    Contact form shortcode provides a simple non-customizable contact form but since it raises some issues on some servers we encourage you to use dedicated contact form plugins such as NinjaForm, wpForms or contactForm7.

    Thanks

    It’s unfortunate that we have to use third party plugins because the ones included are not compatible – especially because using recaptcha causes the page to reload and change the styling as a whole losing the menu and the X option to go back to the homepage. I had to “solve” the problem getting rid of the contact form as a whole.

    Same goes for the styling of the font in the icon list widget. How is it possible that I can’t reference the font used in the rest of the website and apply it also to the aforementioned widget?! Either I use the pixelwars widgets or the content of the other widgets is going to look different from the rest of the website? I see you’re using Fontello and Jost but can’t I set the text in the icon list widget to be displayed with the same font and styling? It seems to me a pretty ordinary thing to do…

    Overall I’m very unhappy about the limitations that this theme imposes and even more so because there was no warning on the themeforest page to inform the customers before the purchase!

    Hi, unfortunately this is a limitation of an ajax fetched page. You can disable ajax feature for any page and make everything work as expected by navigating to “Appearance > Widgets > Homepage Navigation Menu”, find your page link and check “Disable AJAX feature for this link. Check this if a plugin generated content is not shown properly. (AJAX)”to disable ajax for that page link.

    Also, to fix the blue text color and typography inconsistency issue, just navigate to “Elementor > Settings” and check “Disable Default Colors” and “Disable Default Fonts” then save the changes.

    Have a nice day!

    So your solution would be to disable ajax and compromise the look and functionality of the whole template…? What would be the point of buying your template only to disable ajax because there aren’t enough options to use the same font throughout the website? Wouldn’t it be better if you guys simply made a “list widget” that uses the same CSS stylesheet as every other pixelwars widget? Isn’t that something that’s pretty easy for a developer?

    I have read several other posts and have noticed that instead of taking in your customers’ complaints and update the themes to improve your templates and offer a better service you’d rather answer “This is the way it works because it fetches all the info via ajax. Nothing we can do”. All problems I see in your forum come down to “it’s because of Ajax” and you do nothing to improve the functionality of your themes.

    Hi again, disabling global fonts should fix the typography issue, have you tried it? Also, that limitation only applies to the widgets that requires extra javascript to work, for list witdget as far as I know it doesn’t require extra javascript to work and should look fine in an ajax page, I have just checked your resume page and the list widget style looks identical as in the standalone page;
