Hi, I created a custom sidebar widget per your documentation for my podcasts. These are “episodes” created from the PodLove plugin. I have them to show up in my main blog feed with my posts. When I am editing a single episode, I select the newly created widget I made, but when I publish the episode post nothing shows up in the sidebar. But, if I select one of the default sidebar (such as the blog sidebar that came with the demo) it does show up on the episode post. How can we get the new widget to show up? Thanks so much.
Hi, I am not sure if I totally understand what you mean, can you describe it more please? Do you want to show a different sidebar on your podcast posts? (a different sidebar then your regular posts).
Yes I would like to be able to have a different sidebar for the episodes created with PodLove. They are classified as episodes through the plugin, but populate to my WordPress blog as a post with everything else. Would it be possible for the widgets to show up once someone selects the Podlove episode/post? Hopefully that adds some clarity to what I am requesting. Thanks so much for your time.
Hi, I see, thanks for the feedback, episode posts will inherit post sidebar by default for now, if that becomes a more demanded feature by the users, we may consider adding it with an update.
