For some reason, the articles inside one of the departments I use are arranged in a very strange manner, with that big gap between the first and the last row. What’s the problem?

Hi VladyCu,
Your featured image should be bigger than 760px X 507px. When you set up all your image correctly, I would recommend you to install and run regenerate thumbnails plugin for once and try it again;

All my images are uploaded at 1200x801px, so the resolution is not a problem.
I am using the regenerate thumbnails plugin with no change :(

I think you are using a low resolution display. Indeed, if I shrink the window size, the allignment is ok.
But if you have a large screen it’s not ok.
