    Hi,

    I have a few design changes I wish to make that I can’t do with the elementor:

    1. Recipes main picture – the big main picture really don’t look good, what can I do?
    See example: https://ibb.co/6DFFszd

    2. Inside the recipes page the image is too big, no matter if I upload smaller photos, it remain too big. How can I control its size?
    See example: https://ibb.co/Zg7QfFR

    3. The numbers in the direction really don’t look good, also too big. How can it be changed?
    See example: https://ibb.co/Zg11Zh8

    4. In the recipes main page, each recipe’s preview text is too long. How can I limit the number of word shown?
    See example: https://ibb.co/7zxZSfL

    Thanks

    Hi,
    We have lahanna wordpress theme. It is suitable for the food niche website. Modifying the efor theme to lahanna theme is not an easy way. Why don’t you buy the lahanna ?
    Can you also take a screenshot for the conversation with our developer?
    Btw, add your website URL as well.
    Thanks

    Hi,

    I bought the Efor theme after consulting with Ahmet, see our correspondence: https://ibb.co/7Kfc9Q5

    I don’t wish to buy lahanna theme, as I need to have the option to add courses. Also, I don’t wish to pay additional as I didn’t receive from Ahmet the right informaion, see this correspondence: https://ibb.co/5vJ19jD

    I am really confused now, all I need is to change the design and to add a drop-down menu and you can’t adjust it?

    My site name is Togethermeals.com (Togethermeals.com/wp-admin)

    I am really waiting for your reply

    Hi again,

    I can see that at lahanna theme, the preview text for each recipe is short with a Read More button, do you know how this can be made? see example: https://ibb.co/BCp8QNv

    Also when I enter the recipe, I can see that the design is different, why can’t it be made in Efor? see example: https://ibb.co/ZhvvVMk

    I was very disappointed by your reply that I should switch to another theme after I bought one due to my consulting with Ahmet (leaving a side that you wanted me to pay additional 69 Dollars, after I paid already 79 dollars)

    I would appreciate your help.

    Hi Hila,

    1-) you can change recipe featured image format globally from “Appearance > Customize > Single Post > Post Style”, this setting will apply to all posts including blog posts and recipe posts. You may also edit any post (recipe or blog post) and change its Post Style individually;

    https://tinyurl.com/yym8lzs6

    2-) you may use this custom css code;

    body .cooked-post-featured-image img {
        max-width: 360px;
    }

    3-) you may use the custom css code below for smaller round step numbers style;

    .cooked-recipe-directions .cooked-direction-number {
        height: 24px; font-size: 12px; line-height: 2; border-radius: 50%;
    }

    4-) you may use the custom css code below to truncate the recipe excerpt text;

    span.cooked-recipe-card-excerpt {
        text-overflow: ellipsis; max-height: 136px; overflow: hidden;
    }

    You can see the video below on how to add a dropdown menu;

    Read more button for recipes is only available when you insert a recipe shortcode into a regular blog posts.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi Ahmet,

    Thank you for your reply. To make sure I understand you right, this is here I need to insert the code you mentioned? https://ibb.co/VL3g0Rs

    I tried to change the numbers’ size at one of the posts there, but it didn’t work.

    Waiting for your reply,
    Thanks

    Hi Ahmet,

    Regarding the menu bar and drop-down menu, I know how to create it. The problem is that when I go to appearance>menu>categories, the only categories I see are the theme’s categories: https://ibb.co/m9gNRsj

    While the categories I wish to add are the recipe categories: https://ibb.co/zNNxPCn
    But I can’t see them on the menu page. Why is that?

    I want it to look like this: https://ibb.co/8dFhPTf

    Thanks

    I will keep you updated regarding the menu issue.
    Thanks for your patience.

    Hi, there should be two separate “Categories” tab on the left side of the screen, one for blog categories and the other one for recipe categories. If you can’t see it, alternatively you may get the Recipe category links from your recipes page, by right clicking to category links and click “Copy link address” and then add it as a custom url in your menu.

    Cheers.
