I would like to display a custom SVG banner/header on my site on all of the pages, how do i do this? I tried to follow the instructions on another post about this, but ended up with someone else’s banner on my site.

I have tried to use them but they are not helping me display my header image on the pages. I just want a normal header image (not an add) on the site. I have seen you use a short code in other posts. Can we do the same for my site please?

    Hi,
    You can install and run this plugin;
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-support/
    Thanks

Thank you! I already have this plug in, my problem is I am confused about WHERE to add a logo. I cannot find where I upload or edit the logo/banner on your theme.

Thank you! I already have this plugin, however my problem is that I am confused about WHERE to add a logo so that it displays beneath the header menu and above the content on all pages on my site. I cannot find where I upload or edit the logo/banner on your theme.

    Hi,
Readme theme being coded with WordPress based standards does not provide support to SVG image format. But as you said you are making it compatible with the plugin which is fine.
Also, because of this reason, it is not tested with theme usages like custom headers you may need to customize the theme.
Please go through the link below that hopefully will help you getting this work: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/207442/how-to-use-a-svg-as-custom-header
    Best Regards !!

If there is no way to add an SVG file to the header by using shortcode, I can convert it to a jpeg and make the background the same color as the site.

    SVG currently: http://www.lisefunderburg.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Lise-1.svg

let me know what’s best! I tried following the article you linked but unfortunately it is far above my skill set.

I should mention, this is the post I was referring to when I say creating shortcodes

Hi, You can add the photo you specified in the text instead of the readme logo. If you want to add between menu and content, you need to customize your theme according to the related url.

    Hi Serkan,
could you explain what you mean by customize my theme according to the URL? what do I change, and where do I do it? Where do I change the readme logo? I’m sorry if I seem inane, but I’ve dug through the forums and the documentation and am not seeing a way to fix this on my own

I also do not know much about CSS or customizing CSS, which is making this particularly tricky.

Hi, actually we don’t promise any customization work but we try to help on topics that won’t take more than just a few minutes as we are available, what you are asking is possible with css and javascript but it requires more time and effort,
either you can do it yourself or hire someone experienced to do the work for you. Thank you.
